Overview

Filvo provides free image and PDF utilities such as background removal, compression, and PDF merge. We design tools so that, whenever possible, your files are processed on your own device and are not stored in a Filvo user gallery. Some AI tools (background removal and upscaling) send the file to a processing provider only to generate the result.

Images and files you process

For tools that run fully in the browser (including the image compressor, converter, color picker, editor, and PDF tools), your file typically never needs to be uploaded to Filvo servers for the core effect. Temporary browser memory and local downloads are under your control.

Background removal and image upscaling use a dedicated AI provider through our API so cutout and super-resolution quality stay high. That request is used only to complete the operation and is not intended as long-term storage of your personal photo library.

Google accounts

You can use Filvo without an account. If you choose to sign in, we use Google Sign-In only. Google shares your name, email address, and profile photo with us so we can keep you signed in. We do not receive your Google password.

While you are signed in, we may attach your account id to tool usage events (for example that you compressed an image) so you can see recent activity on your account page. We still do not keep a gallery of the files you process.

Site analytics and logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the service secure and reliable. We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find Filvo. This helps us improve the tools. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send the files you process in our tools to Google Analytics.

Cookies

We may use essential cookies or similar storage required for the site to function, including a session cookie if you sign in with Google, plus Google Analytics cookies for traffic statistics. We do not use your tool uploads as advertising profiles.
